SMKA’s The 808 Experiment is an annual compilation, produced entirely by SMKA, which showcases the immense talent and diversity that exists in hip-hop…and especially our home town of Atlanta.  Though a majority of the artists are from Atlanta, this project features artists from all over the states and abroad.  There is something for everyone in this project.  There are unknown artists, well-established artists and up-and-coming buzz artists, which makes it a truly unique compilation of music.

What you see on your computer screen right now is a huge collaboration with Mick Boogie, Terry Urban, VIMBY, URB Mag and 6 of ATL’s rising stars. This mixtape is more of a compilation that incorporates music from Donnis, Killer Mike, Izza Kizza, Proton, Grip Plyaz and Hollyweerd. These artists also happen to be performing at SXSW as I type this post.
