G.O.O.D Music Vocalist Tony Williams Prepares To Release “History” Making Solo Project
With the release of Jay Z’s song “History” (a song dedicated to President Elect Barack Obama) accompanied by Tony Williams, it is evident that the soulful G.O.O.D. Music vocalist has been hard at work even while touring internationally alongside cousin Kanye West On the Glow In the Dark Tour to countries such as Brazil, China, Europe, the UK and Australia. Now back at home and situated on familiar soil, Mr. Williams is taking center stage and preparing for the release of his debuting solo album that promises to leave a mark on the tablet of history. With an anticipated release in Late January, King or the Fool is an album slated to restore a current lack luster music industry to its respectable glory.
Leading up to the release of his album, Williams plans to host KOTF listening parties in various cities around the country and headline a national KOTF Tour in February. Mr. Williams will also be making other live appearances, hosting “History” Parties, performing at different shows around the nation in January and granting interviews for the public to become more familiar with the face behind the voice that will help to revive the music industry. Fans are sure to take a liking to the refreshing sound of Tony Williams who has been the accompanying vocalist on many of Kanye West’s top charting hits including “Flashing Lights” and “Heartless” for the past four years.
Coming to the forefront with the intent to create music that stand the test of time, Tony Williams has come from his soul to create a project aimed at including everyone in the musical experience. Harboring a sound that Tony describes as “uplifting”, “thought-provoking” and “complex”, King or the Fool is an album containing gospel undertones and musical themes inspired from old school artists such as Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding. “This album was created to affect people,” states Williams. “This is a feel good album that gets down into your soul.” A few producers that were chosen to contribute to the project are Chris Cutta, James Dumaine, John “Cheese Beats” Williams, Chicago Native Keezo Kane and super producer/rapper Kanye West.
With so much promise for the New Year 2009 is truly the Year of the King!
