It’s An Infinite Cycle Interviews… Kid Hum

On a random and late July night, I was on the computer putting songs on my iPod. I randomly get a message on Twitter from Kid Hum saying that he wanted to be interviewed out of nowhere. At this point, I’m confused because we never talked about me interviewing him prior to that. Ten minutes after I got the request, I have my questions ready and the interview lasted for about an hour. Unfortunately, only 10% of the actual interview is at the bottom because this was a wild conversation.

Rock The Dub pulled off the inevitable and invited artists to go in over Kid Hum‘s debut, instrumental album, Fossil Fuel. On this EP, you will hear familiar voices such as Cyrano and Whygee, as well as first-timers (on this blog) like Sky 7th. Despite the minor delay of Offshore Drilling, everyone involved can finally breath, relax and reflect on their 5-star efforts.

I’m glad that I got a chance to interview Cyrano because there are a couple of things that you and I wouldn’t have caught just by listening to his music. In this interview, he goes into detail about some of his past, present and future projects as well as gaining connections through websites, including It’s An Infinite Cycle.

Since III X MMVIII (Part Three)

Like I promised, I’ll share some of my stories.

A-Plus/Opio (Souls of Mischief)

On January 10, I went to an SOM show where I live and that’s where I first met Phalary (see her post here). There was a break in between performances and I walked over to the SOM merch table. I gave a fist bump to the guy behind the table. I barely noticed his face then, but I fist bumped A-Plus. By the time I see Souls of Mischief perform, I realize it was him. I felt a little dumb, but it was ok.

After the show, Opio comes off the stage and starts shaking everyone’s hand. I secretly thought about getting Phalary a video shout out, but my nerves got the best of me.
