Last weekend, I went to my local record store looking for a CD copy of Jay $tay Paid and they didn’t even get it yet. I almost left, but I decided to turn around and try to find something I didn’t know I needed. I’m a little mad that I spent most of the money intended for Jay $tay Paid, but I came out a winner with my selections.
Two more Wordsmith tracks for you to listen to. “Game, Set, Point” is on some type of S.L.U. status, so downloading is a must.
Wordsmith – The Ghost in My Dreams (Produced By Guilty J)
Wordsmith – Game, Set, Point ft. Skyzoo, Unlearn, Donny Goines, and RATheMC (Produced By Street Level)
If you haven’t noticed by now, North Carolina is in full effect and Kooley High is no exception. This gifted quintet made up of of 3 emcees and 2 producers [and 1 DJ (Ill Digitz)], so you know that each and every song will never sound the same. Charlie Smarts, Tab-One, and Rapsody (the emcees) and Foolery and The Sinopsis (the producers) were all N.C. State University students that just happened to share a common interest that benefits everyone.
If you don’t believe that Kooley High is the future, take Big Daddy Kane’s advice:
i’m changing the subject because there is NO excuse for Zoo’s mess
both tracks from The Mixtape About Nothing (May 30)
