85th Mixtape Feature: Illmind
As the festive season grows closer and closer, Illmind and Dub MD are back with an early Christmas present for everyone following the movement, with the fourth installment of the Blaps, Rhymes & Life compilation series. This edition is a little special, and the first of its kind, comprising of 2 Discs with double the dose of classic Illmind production. Volume 4 showcases the usual mixture of mainstream/upcoming artists: KRS-One, Keith Murray, Erykah Badu, Big Pooh, Skyzoo, Jared Evan, Reef The Lost Cauze, D-Black, Thoth and many more.

62nd Mixtape Feature: Junclassic
As Junclassic‘s first-ever mixtape, Southside’s Savior shows his experimentation with his sound as well as maintaining the familiarity he’s known for. As I went through the mixtape, I noticed that the songs cover things from not rushing to grow up to “The Dope Song” (which is one of my favorites). Being a fan of diversity, I think Southside’s Savior has enough to where anybody could pick out a favorite.

Nametag – Back On My Shit ft. Skyzoo
Nametag is releasing a followup to 2008′s Classic Cadence with a second entry into the Classic Cadence series, hosted by Dub MD. “Back On My Shit” is produced by Detroit’s Black Milk and features Skyzoo on a verse.
39th Mixtape Feature: Cyrano

li·ba·tion: The pouring of a liquid offering as a religious ritual.
I guess it’s safe to say that you don’t see many Madlib tributes floating around the internet (yet), but Madicinal Libationz will set the standard for all future attempts. I can reassure you that a great effort has been put forth to honor this Southern Californian beatsmith by the one and only Cyrano. This is most definitely NOT a mediocre attempt at a Madlib tribute, so go ahead and download the mixtape for your sake.

It’s An Infinite Cycle Interviews… Cyrano
I’m glad that I got a chance to interview Cyrano because there are a couple of things that you and I wouldn’t have caught just by listening to his music. In this interview, he goes into detail about some of his past, present and future projects as well as gaining connections through websites, including It’s An Infinite Cycle.
Cyrano – Bolsheviks
Cyrano will be releasing a mixtape with him rapping exclusively over Madlib instrumentals. This is the first leak from the Dub MD x Cyrano x Madlib mixtape, Madicinal Libationz. In “Bolsheviks”, he uses Madlib’s “Red”. I can truly see the longevity in Cy Yung’s career.
15th Mixtape Feature: Dub MD
Dub MD is releasing his newest mixtape in honor of some of the many underrated emcees in music. Hip Hop Renatus features acts such as Supastition, Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli, Mr. Live, 6th Sense, Sic Osyrus, Fred Knuxx, Karneige, Access Immortal, Donny Goines, Diablo Archer, Emilio Rojas, D.V. Alias Khryst, Wordsmith and many more. These artists are also doing songs over world-famous producers’ beats. They include, but not limited to, J Dilla, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, ?uestlove, Large Professor, Oddisee, Illmind.
