59th, 60th and 61st Mixtape Features: Nothing But Colorado

The Colorado Rap Report’s second compilation in the Songs of the Colorado Rap Report series features artists and groups like Whygee, 3 The Hardway, The Block Scholars and more. There is a mix of new and old songs present on this mixtape, however, this is a fine representation of Colorado’s musical talent.

Abracadaver is an extremely engaging album from Sunkenstate which is actually from 2004. Made up of mostly mid-tempo songs, this album kills 95% of the music that’s drilled into your head.  If you are familiar with Sunkenstate, you should know that Abracadaver is most definitely not for the “stuck-on-stupid” consumers, so try your hand at not wasting time listening to someone else, you might learn something.

Note: The songs “Bust Equation” and “Bear Witness” are labeled as “Knock” and “Paths” respectively.

As a followup of last year’s Suicide Watch, Suicide Watch 2: Sambodextrust contains the same type of lyricism Whygee and Sunkenstate are known for and this time around, more producers were invited to provide the instrumentals. The addition of those producers gives the EP a better spectrum of music for people to enjoy.
